The L Series from Gardner Denver uses advanced design techniques that result in products which uniquely combine simplicity with cutting edge technology. All L Series compressors feature a clean, simple, and intuitive layout that ensure first class serviceability by lowering maintenance costs, lengthening service life, and limiting down time.
The L Series rotary screw air compressor is a fixed speed, fully enclosed package with a single stage airend which is oil-flooded and air-cooled. Water cooled configurations are available on select models. The airend is directly or indirectly coupled to a 3600 RPM TEFC motor. The LRS Series range from 5-400Hp. The 5-30Hp are available mounted on a receiver tank with or without a refrigerated air dryer to make a complete air station.
The L Series utilizes a highly efficient airend that incorporates a spin-on/ spin-off oil filter and a thermostatic mixing valve for lubricant temperature regulation. This integrated airend design reduces the number of hose connections, thus increasing reliability. In addition, a tri-lip shaft seal prevents lubricant leakage around the drive shaft as well as prevents the ingress of dust
